R&B Jazz Funk Soul

The Compass Roses is born out of the Pocketful of Soul project and delights in having constantly evolving lineups, featuring an array of guest musicians and vocalists. The band has toured Italy including playing main stage at the Pistoia Blues Festival.

The Compass Roses is known for the Pocketful of Soul events and create most of their own material and specialise in freestyle/ The repertoire would also include jazz funk versions of classics such as Chameleon, Cold Duck Time, Night In Tunisia, Cantaloupe the pieces becoming a vehicle for the bands freestyling by vocalists and musicians.
